Next Wolbachia Meeting (04/12/05 Kostas Bourtzis)
“Dear Colleagues,
The dates being discussed for the next Wolbachia meeting are the same summer as the next Congress of Symbiosis 4-10 August in Vienna.

We suggest that both meetings to be held in the same place. We are planning a symposium on applied symbiosis at the Vienna meeting. There are many advantages for both groups participating there.
Alternatively, we suggest that the Wolbachia Conference takes place just before or immediately afterwards the ISS meeting in the place suggested by Vavre’s group in Lyon (Wolbachia in the Mountains). The two places are very close few hours by train thus giving the opportunity to many colleagues (Wolbachia and non-Wolbachia Symbiosis Researchers) to attend and participate actively in both meetings.
